Australian Vinyls has a team of technical staff who work closely with our customers to improve the health and safety of PVC manufacturing and conversion of resin into quality end products.
The Technical Services team leads Australian Vinyls’ manufacturing operations in continuously improving the quality of its resin. In addition, Technical Services staff work with AV’s customers to advance their process efficiencies.
They provide services such as identifying uses for off-specification resin to divert it from landfill; assisting customers to reduce or eliminate their use of toxic heavy metal stabilisers; sharing information and technical developments in the global PVC industry; and assisting in development of Australian Standards.
The group has prepared a Safe Handling Guide related to the company’s resin for customers.
