Supplying plasticisers

Usually, producers choose a plasticiser based on its particular performance characteristics. The most commonly used plasticisers come from the phthalate ester family. These have been used since the 1930s. AV’s Specialty Products business supplies phthalates to PVC manufacturers.
Some chemicals are imported directly to the company we supply but, where the chemicals are dispatched from AV sites, we take all the regulated precautions for the safe handling, storage and transportation of these chemicals, including the provision of Material Safety Data Sheets.
