The manufacturing process for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has been developed by chemists and engineers over more than 75 years. Today’s PVC is an adaptable, safe plastic that is widely used in every day life.
Annual Australian PVC consumption is over 225,000 tonnes. This calculation includes the Australian consumption of local PVC resin, resin imports and recycled PVC.
